Originally... TPS began as a solution to boredom; very quickly, it became more than that. Founder and owner, Dustin Daigle, began posting tutorials in order to help people better understand programming at the core. It began with explaining in a layman's term and then the more complex and technical explanations came after the basic understanding.
You can never speak in a language that you've never learned. You teach word by word, not sentence by sentence, and that's how the tutorials were set up. To teach line by line before the overall message was portrayed.
TheProgrammingSchool was started on January 21, 2010. Not long after tutorials began being posted. By the end of 2010, the first version of the live website was released. Admittedly lacking functionality, but still a public location to be reached for further education. About halfway through 2011 however, the website went down due to lack of funding. The website's ownership was once again regained by our current owner earlier in 2012. This live version of the website went live April 15, 2012.
What happens next in TPS's life? Stay tuned, and thank you so much for your support of our endeavors.
